Aboriginal Housing Support Centre is a development by Wigwamen Incorporated with funding from the City of Toronto’s Homelessness Initiative Fund. Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities is a community organization that provides diverse support for health-related issues to seniors and disadvantaged and marginalized groups within Scarborough. The health care centre is made up of dieticians, physicians, and chiropodists taking on new patients. More so, the health and wellness supports for children and youth seek to introduce them to cooking, fitness, and leadership roles and activities. More so, the organization has a Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Care Centre that offers private counselling to individuals that faced sexual assault or domestic violence. Learn more.
