FLYBY Darts uses three high-speed cameras to track specially designed turquoise darts.

The system relies on a colour threshold map, where the board is calibrated to recognise dart positions based on live video feeds. 

As each dart lands, its location is processed instantly by the onboard computer, allowing for fast, automatic scoring and seamless turn tracking, with no sensors, pressure pads, or manual input required.

FLYBY features a built-in leaderboard system that tracks individual performance across games.

After each match, players are awarded 4 points for a win, 2 for second place, and 1 for third. 

The system automatically logs scores and updates the rankings, allowing players to build their standings over time and compete for the top spot. 

In team games, all players on the winning team earn the same points. However, points are tracked individually, so if a player switches teams in future games, they keep their personal total. This means players can mix up teams while still climbing the leaderboard based on their own performance.

It’s a great way to add long-term rivalry and bragging rights to every session.
