The Mountain Heart Men’s Ceremony is a 3-day immersive gathering for men ready to reconnect with purpose, power, and presence.
Held at the sacred lands of 13 Moons Ranch in Carbondale, Colorado—from 5:00pm Friday, September 26 to 4:00pm Sunday, September 28—this transformational weekend invited men of all ages to come together in brotherhood, healing, and remembrance.
Set at the base of Mount Sopris—known by the Ute people as Wemagooah, meaning “Ancient Mountain Heart Sits There”—this gathering wove together ancestral wisdom and modern men’s work to meet the needs of our time. They're already making plans for the second annual Mountain Men's Ceremony in 2026!
The Serious Type became the fiscal sponsor for the Mountain Heart Men's Ceremony in October 2025.
The Land of Peace Art Village, a 20 year-old brainchild of Aziz Mohammed (Volta Lake Region, Ghana) and Rochelle Norwood (Colorado, USA), is a cross-cultural collaboration dedicated to sharing resources, artistic development, and intrinsic joy while addressing urgent environmental challenges.
