Our 2026-27 Session classes run September-June. When registering it is assumed that dancers are taking a class place for the entire Session.
Tuition is due regardless of a dancer’s attendance in class.
Dancers may make up missed classes at another class of the same or lower level, up to a maximum of 3 classes per Session. Book your absences and make up classes through your account in the Parent Portal. Due to recital preparations, last date to complete make up classes is May 1st.
We will do our best to switch dancers to another class if requested, space permitting. A $40 transfer fee applies. An additional costume fee may apply to Youth classes if recital costumes have already been purchased for the group. We reserve the right to refuse a class transfer if it is too close to the recital for the student to properly prepare for the performance.
Please text: 647-277-4678 to give notice of withdrawal and fill out the Withdrawal Form. Verbal notice or continued absenteeism are not considered notice of withdrawal. For Youth Classes a cancellation fee of one month’s tuition will be charged at the time of withdrawal. For Early Years classes notice of withdrawal must be given by the 15th of the month to stop tuition payment on the 1st. Last date to drop classes is April 1st. Our programs are designed for year long participation (Sept-June). Please keep that in mind when scheduling other seasonal activities.
Classes may be cancelled due to extreme weather or extraordinary circumstances. No refunds will be issued. Classes may be made up at another class of the same or lower level within one month.
HST is added to all tuition and fees. Receipts for tax purposes are available upon request or may be viewed at any time through the Parent Portal.
Pre-authorized monthly payments by Visa or MasterCard.
Interac etransfer is available to customers paying in full.
A one week grace period is granted to declined or expired cards. After that a $5 late fee will be added.
We are unable to take responsibility for our students before or after their scheduled classes. It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that their child is picked up and dropped off on time. In the case of an emergency or unavoidable delay, please contact the studio immediately to inform us of the situation so we can keep your child calm and safe until they can be collected.
The Pointe Dance Centre takes no responsibility for any stolen or misplaced property on the studio premises. We encourage our families to avoid bringing valuable items into the studio where possible. Check the lost and found box regularly to make sure you take home your belongings. Periodically, all uncollected belongings will be donated to charity without notice.
The Pointe Dance Centre reserves the right to change instructors or adjust class days and times when necessary at any time throughout the year.
