Dance Recitals

The opportunity to perform is an empowering and confidence-building part of every dancer’s training. We love to watch our dancers learn about the rehearsal process, the joy of performing live theatre and all the teamwork that goes into putting on a successful show. 

Performances are a wonderful way for dancers to showcase the results of their hard work and for family and friends to join in the pride of their achievement. We love giving all of our dancers the chance to perform for their family and friends in a supportive and fun environment and encourage even our youngest and newest performers to take the stage. 

If there is any reason why your dancer will not be able to rehearse or perform at the dates and times provided in this handbook (see the calendar for info), please let us know so we can make amendments to the class routines involving them beginning in the new year.

It is very important that students do not miss any of their scheduled classes. We want them to feel confident and look amazing! Unavoidable absences and make-up classes can be scheduled at any time through the Parent Portal. 

This is without doubt the highlight of the year for these dance students! Your support and encouragement mean the world to them. 

Early Years Recitals

Our littlest dancers (Tiny Dancers, First Steps and Future Stars) perform in short on-site recitals at The Pointe Dance Centre at the end of June. The familiar surroundings and low stress event helps them to feel comfortable and perform their best. Family and friends are welcome to attend and there is no extra charge for these events. Costumes are loaned on the day at no charge.

Youth Recitals

Our Youth dancers (Superstars, Nova, Supernova, Teen and Teams) all perform in our Youth Recital which is held off-site at the Randolph Theatre. Participation is expected of all dancers. Please let us know ASAP if for any reason you are unable to make the recital event dates shown in our Calendar. 

Costume Fees: Feb 15th and Mar 15th - $60.00

Tickets: approximately $32.50/person
