Dear dance families,

We hope you're happily settled in dance class by now and feeling excited about the year ahead. If you have questions or need help, don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email. 

Please make a note of the following:

Thanksgiving - We will be closed on Monday October 10th for the Statutory Holiday.

Halloween- We will be open on Saturday October 30th. (No costumes please!)

Refer a Friend in October - We would love more families just like yours at The Pointe! Forward this email or send the link below to your friends and if they register for the Session before Nov 1st, we'll add a credit of $50 each to your account to say thanks! :) Just make sure they give us your name!

September Dance News

Dear dance families,

We can't wait to see you back at The Pointe for another great year of dance! Please take a minute to read through the following info. I promise that your dance experience will be even more awesome when you're well prepared!

1. Classes begin Saturday September 12th. Remember to arrive early enough for your child to get ready for class. Some students only need 5 minutes to prepare, others need longer. If you're new to The Pointe this year or you're enrolled for a trial class, aim to arrive at least 5 minutes early so you can get comfortable.

2. Can't remember your class schedule? Log in to the Parent Portal to double check. Click here. Or text us at the number below for assistance.

3. Make sure your child has the appropriate uniform and hair accessories for class. We recommend leaving a hair brush and hair accessories in their dance bag. (Please secure your dancer's hair well for class and do not share brushes or hair accessories to combat the spread of head lice.) You should also send them into the classroom with a reusable water bottle. See our Uniform guidelines here.


4. The Pointe Dance Centre classes run alongside the TDSB schedule (exception: no classes will run on the first week of school) so we are closed during school breaks and for Statutory Holidays. Monthly fees are calculated by taking the total for the Session and dividing it into 10 equal payments for billing clarity. See our Calendar and Tuition Policies Here.

6. Don't forget that it's the friends we meet along the way that make the journey special! One of the best things about this time of year is the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. We can't wait to see all of you next week!
