Three things you can do right now that will improve the quality of your mobile photography:

1. Lighting

Pay attention to how the available light affects your focus point. The better lit your subject is the clearer your image is likely to be. If possible shoot outside or turn on lights when shooting inside. In low light, camera phones slow the shutter speed to let in more light and have a longer opportunity to capture movement. Hold the camera phone with both hands and brace your upper arms against your body when you shoot.

2. Composition

The rule of thirds is all about where you position the main elements in a scene. The rule suggests that an image will look more balanced and aesthetically pleasing if you position important parts of the scene off-center.

3. Equipment

The best camera is the one you always have with you so make sure its performing at the best of its ability. Keep your lens clean. Make sure your camera phone settings are set at the highest quality. Avoid digital zoom.
