Competitions and Fixtures

Federation Dodgebal 

Our Year 3/4 Dodgeball team took on the other 8 schools in our Park Federation competition. The standard was very high across all schools with some fantastic displays of play and sportsmanship. WHA progressed out of their group and went on to win both their semi final and the final against Godolphin Junior Academy. The team showed brilliant teamwork and positive attitude throughout the competition.


Invictus Festival 

The Invictus Festival was a multi sport Participation event. Our KS2 pupils represented WHA in a wide range of skill based activities where they gained points and were given a score at the end of the festival around some key values. These included team work , courage ,  resilience and respect. Well done to all involved a true display of the WHA values. 

Year 3/4 Girls Football 

In the Spring 2 term WHA girls in year 3/4 took part in two football matches which is a great achievement alone. After a few training sessions the girls went on to win all of the their pool matches. The girls have played Montem Academy and James Elliman both very good teams , however because of the girls great team work and resilience they have now been moved into the top league for years 3/4 girls football. The future is looking bright and we can't wait to watch this group of girls grow and push onto reaching their full potential. 

Year 3/4 Boys Football 

In the Spring 2 term WHA boys in year 3/4 took part in two football matches. The boys played against Montem Academy and James Elliman both with very strong teams. The boys won one game and narrowly lost the other game. During the matches I was so pleased to see the boys stay together and work as a team during very tough opponents. The boys have been entered into a new league and I have no doubt with keep working together and achieve the best they possibly can.

Year 4 Girls and Boys Federation Tennis Competition

In the Summer term two girls and two boys in Year 4 took park in the Federation Tennis tournament at Montem Academy. During the day the children took part in seven matches and competed to win matches to earn points for WHA. During the day the children showed amazing courage and resilience against tough opponents. The children overall finished 3rd which is an amazing achieving and shows how talented and dedicated they all are. Also some year 6 sports leaders were lucky enough to join us and umpire the matches. The year 6 sports leaders selected showed great qualities of excellent umpiring and showed exactly why they are sports leaders. Well done to all envolved with the day. 

Year 5/6 Girls Federation Cricket 


In Summer 2 a group of girls from year 5/6 traveled to Uxbridge Cricket club to take part in the Federation Cricket tournament. During the day the girls displayed impressive techniques in bowling , batting and fielding. I am incredible impressed with how the girls worked together and kept each other going against really tough opponents. Overall the girls finished 5th which is an amazing achievement. Congratulations girls!

Year 5/6 Federation Cricket

In summer 2 a group of year 5/6 also travelled to Uxbridge Cricket Club despite the heat. During the day the boys took park in four matches. In the morning the boys played three pool matches which they managed to win all three. This meant that the boys went straight into the final to play Godolphin Academy. The boys battled really hard and displayed amazing team work and resilience to keep going against a well run Godolphin Cricket team. WHA did come second which is an amazing result in tough conditions. WHA are so proud of the boys and cant wait for next years competition.
