HagueMUN Registration is Open!
Delegates are to be dressed in Western business attire (Tie, blazer, dress shirt, etc.)
Position papers are not required, but are highly encouraged, and will likely affect a delegate's overall performance. Any delegation without a position paper may not be eligible for awards. You MUST cite your sources!
Prewritten working papers are not permitted at HagueMUN, and nor is writing out of session
Violating this policy will disqualify the prewritten paper from consideration, as well as disqualifying the offenders from awards and possibly from the conference depending on the severity of the offense
Delegates are to turn in a printed copy of their position papers to their chairs at the beginning of the conference
Phones must be turned off or on silent during the conference.
Electronic devices (that are not cell phones) may not be used in moderated caucuses, but may be used during unmoderated caucuses.
For those in the Crisis committee, this may be subject to change at the chair's discretion
Delegates who do not follow the policy will receive a warning upon first offense and upon second offense, will be removed from the conference.
While it is imperative to adhere to the policies of your nation, hate speech of any kind will not be tolerated. Model UNs may often deal with sensitive topics, but it is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure they act and speak with respect and decorum.
Please, don't start or declare any sort of nuclear war. This includes during Crisis Committees or emergency crisis updates.
During FunMUN, this may be permitted at your chair's discretion.
