Join us for the final Cadre of the year – Fri May 6 from 10-1130 AM Pacific!
Merriam-Webster defines cadre as a nucleus or core group especially of trained personnel able to assume control and to train others. The Core Collaborative Leadership Inquiry Cadres are another way to bring education leaders together with our consultants to help you solve current problems of practice.
Each month we will harness the power of Impact Team Inquiry with school leaders, along with family and community members to solve current puzzles of practice rooted in the five building blocks from our groundbreaking MTSS Framework. Strengthening multiple systems of support, where students are empowered to take ownership of their learning through self-assessment, peer assessment, reflection, and goal setting.
✓ Nov 05 | Leverage Appreciative Inquiry for Strategic Innovation
✓ Dec 03 | Design a Balanced Assessment Framework
✓ Jan 21 | Accelerate Learning with Learner-Centered, High Impact Strategies
✓ Feb 04 | Enact Culturally Responsive Practices
✓ Mar 04 | Develop Restorative Practices and Relational Literacy
The Core Collaborative Leadership Inquiry Cadre is ideal for School and District Leaders, Teacher Leaders & ILT Teams, Family & Community Leaders, Mental Health Leaders, Interventionists.
Simply, this portion of each cadre sends participants into breakout rooms to review the problem, interpret the information, and arrive at high-impact actions to take back to your school or district.
Co-design a new narrative through collective action that is inclusive of the communities, families, students, and educators we serve.
Grow healthy learning identities and learner agency in our students by cultivating their academic, social, and emotional capacity.
Co-construct the success criteria for evidence-based, human-centered, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) that honor the dignity of all learners, families, and educators in our systems.
Collaboratively we have the energy to accomplish our dreams and goals if they are grounded in moral purpose. Teaming for impact requires each of us to model and practice empathy, vulnerability, active listening, and out-of-the-box thinking.
Nothing! We know that educators are struggling at all levels right now. So it’s important to us to give you the tools you need to adapt and grow to address the problems you’re encountering today.
Each cadre begins with a brief introduction, then moves into breakout rooms for self-assessment. We then return to the whole group, where we share the problems of practice identified in our groups and learn the quick-fire inquiry protocol. For the second part of the cadre, attendees will attend a breakout centered on a problem they are experiencing at school to share strengths and brainstorm solutions while utilizing the quick-fire inquiry protocol. After the quick-fire inquiry, we regroup one last time to review and summarize the work accomplished. Finally, we close with a preview of the next cadre.
Core Collaborative Leadership Inquiry Cadres will take place the first Friday* of every month, beginning Friday, November 5, and are a little longer than your typical lunch hour, at 1 hour and 30 minutes.
