YPAR - 8TH GRADE: We are identifying youth-centered issues and community assets in Baton Rouge and explain how both shape young people’s daily lives, opportunities, and sense of belonging.
Discuss & Discover: What are some issues that affect youth in Baton Rouge and what assets are attached to them?
SRL - 9TH & 10TH GRADE: We're working on self-advocacy and locus of control. Thinking about how the two are connected. We will also discuss when and how to best self-advocate.
Discuss & Discover: Ask your Fellow how self-advocacy and locus of control are connected.
MISSED PROGRAM? Complete your grade-level lesson and text your program manager when you're done to earn full attendance credit for this week! Remember, you must maintain 80% attendance to remain in good standing.
