Lead Teacher - Ms D Weston
Every job requires a set of skills, and that's why they're so important. They go beyond the ability to use a specific piece of equipment, or do one specific thing.
Using your initiative is about taking responsibility for your own work and don’t wait to be told what to do. You look for ways to improve things, wherever you work. You’re good at deciding which tasks are a priority. Planning helps make sure work gets done, and you're good at avoiding distractions. You’re great at co-operating with others. You understand how you can contribute to your team, and support other people. Communication lets you explain your ideas and opinions clearly. You’re good at listening, presenting or being able to persuade others. When you assess a situation, problem solving helps you understand what’s causing issues, then develop a solution.
