我們在臺南深耕多年，不斷探索打造理想在地藝術與文化平台的多種可能。透過持續的交流，我們逐步確立了主要的營運理念與未來願景。我們的計畫聚焦於三大主軸：「國際交流」、「對外推廣」與「工作室內部活動」，期望展現人文、城市生活與思想交織之美，並提供一個讓每位有志於創作版畫藝術的人都能安心投入的空間。

Texture Printmaking Studio is located in Tainan, a city where the old and new coexist in a delicate balance. Over time, it has seen the influences of Indigenous peoples, the Dutch, Ming and Qing dynasties of China, Japan, and Taiwan (Republic of China), with multicultural elements permeating every aspect of life. Each alley tells a story—the city, steeped in history, awaits to be awakened. Starting from the old alleys, our studio has established a platform for the exchange of information and emotions. Every year, we host international exchange programs and actively invite both foreign and local artists to experience Taiwan and immerse themselves in Tainan's culture, enriching their perspectives.

Texture版畫工作室位於臺南，一座新舊並存、微妙平衡的城市。長久以來，臺南經歷了原住民族、荷蘭、明朝、清朝、日本與中華民國臺灣等多元文化的交織影響，這些多元元素滲透於生活的各個層面。每一條巷弄都有故事可說；這座蘊藏深厚歷史的城市，正等待被喚醒。工作室從老巷弄出發，建立了一個情感與資訊交流的平台。每年我們舉辦國際交流計畫，積極邀請國內外藝術家來臺進駐，親身感受臺南的文化脈絡，豐富自身創作視野。

Deeply rooted in Tainan for many years, we have explored various ways to build an ideal local art and cultural platform. Through continuous exchanges, we have gradually defined our main operating principles and future vision. Our plan includes three main focuses: "International Program," "Outreach," and "In-Studio Activities," aiming to showcase the beauty of the intersection of humanities, urban life, and thought, providing a space for everyone who wants to create printmaking art.

2014

4月｜Texture版畫工作室成立。

Apr.｜Texture Printmaking Studio was founded in Tainan, Taiwan.

8月｜首次參與臺南市政府「愛情市集」，以「廚房平版」體驗向大眾介紹不同於傳統印象的版畫創作方式。

Aug.｜Participated in the Tainan City Government’s “Love Market,” introducing Kitchen Lithography through a public hands-on printmaking activity.

9月｜於文華高中舉辦首場教師研習「廚房平版教師研習」。

Sep.｜Presented our first teacher training workshop on Kitchen Lithography at Wen-Hua Senior High School.

2015

2月｜與 CW 版畫工作室於高雄駁二藝術特區共同參與《藝模藝樣特展》。

Feb.｜Collaborated with CW Printmaking Studio on the 藝模藝樣 Special Exhibition at Pier-2 Art Center, Kaohsiung.

舉辦「紙的溫度」，透過明信片交換與傳遞連結人與人之間的情感。

Presented The Warmth of Paper, a postcard exchange project exploring connections between people through paper.

舉辦版畫交換活動「換個好年」，邀請臺灣創作者透過郵件交換原創版畫作品。

Launched 換個好年, a print exchange project connecting Taiwanese artists through mailed original prints.

9月｜啟動「分享計畫」，與不同繪師合作以廚房平版進行人像速寫，探索版畫的複數性與獨特性。

Sep.｜Launched the Sharing Project, collaborating with illustrators on Kitchen Lithography portraits to explore multiplicity and uniqueness in printmaking.

2016

4月｜「換個好年」發展為首屆國際交換計畫「換版 Exchanging Texture」，共有8國71位藝術家參與，並於臺南321巷藝術聚落及文華高中展出。

Apr.｜Expanded the print exchange into the first international Exchanging Texture, bringing together 71 artists from 8 countries with exhibitions in Tainan.

於文華高中首次舉辦「凹凸孔平馬拉松」工作坊，以凹版、凸版、孔版與平版四大版種建立完整的版畫體驗。

Presented the first Intaglio–Relief–Screen–Planographic Printmaking Marathon at Wen-Hua Senior High School, introducing the four major printmaking processes.

2017

3月｜舉辦第二屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」，共有臺灣、韓國、日本3國46件作品參與。

Mar.｜Presented the second Exchanging Texture, featuring 46 works from Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.

7月｜工作室搬遷至現址，並正式啟動藝術家進駐計畫。

Jul.｜Texture relocated to its current studio and formally launched its Artist Residency Program.

9月｜日本藝術家 Tomomi Ono（小野知美）成為工作室首位國際進駐藝術家。

Sep.｜Japanese artist Tomomi Ono became Texture’s first international artist-in-residence.

10月｜游雅蘭成為工作室首位臺灣進駐藝術家。

Oct.｜Yu Ya-Lan became Texture’s first Taiwanese artist-in-residence.

2018

啟動第三屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」國際交換計畫徵件與籌備。

Began preparations and the open call for the third Exchanging Texture international print exchange.

2019

3月｜第三屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」集結臺灣、義大利、日本、澳洲、瑞士、韓國、加拿大、美國及菲律賓共9國56件作品。

Mar.｜The third Exchanging Texture featured 56 works from artists across 9 countries.

9月｜啟動首屆國際共同創作計畫「介質 Involved」，邀集日本、香港、英國及臺灣共16位藝術家參與。

Sep.｜Initiated the first international collaborative project Involved, bringing together 16 artists from Japan, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and Taiwan.

2020

執行首屆國際共同創作計畫「介質 Involved」，後因 COVID-19 疫情影響暫緩部分計畫。

Continued the first Involved international collaborative project, with parts of the program postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

11月｜啟動第四屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」國際徵件。

Nov.｜Opened the international call for the fourth Exchanging Texture.

參與竹圍工作室「島內進駐計畫」，接待藝術家王怡婷。

Participated in Bamboo Curtain Studio’s domestic residency program and hosted artist Wang Yi-Ting.

2021

首屆「介質 Involved」於台南應用科技大學 ONE 空間及新化老街「立賀佇遮」展出。

The first Involved was exhibited at Tainan University of Technology’s ONE Space and Li-Ho-Tsai-Tsia in Xinhua, Tainan.

3月｜第四屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」集結臺灣、香港、日本、澳洲、美國、韓國、泰國、菲律賓、法國、義大利及瑞典共11國71件作品，並與藝術家林羿束合作開發計畫紀念品。

Mar.｜The fourth Exchanging Texture featured 71 works from 11 countries, with project merchandise developed in collaboration with artist Lin Yi-Shu.

7月｜因應疫情推出「郵局絹印包」、「藍曬材料包」及「凸版材料包」，發展居家版畫體驗。

Jul.｜Developed home-based printmaking kits for screen printing, cyanotype, and relief printing in response to the pandemic.

10月｜與國立故宮博物院南部院區《遠方的戰爭》特展合作舉辦利樂包凹版工作坊。

Oct.｜Collaborated with the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum on a Tetra Pak intaglio workshop for the exhibition Wars in the Distance.

2022

籌備第二屆國際共同創作計畫「介質 Involved」，邀集日本、智利、美國及臺灣共20位藝術家參與。

Developed the second Involved international collaborative project with 20 artists from Japan, Chile, the United States, and Taiwan.

2023

第二屆「介質 Involved」於文華高中圖書館、浮生圖像所及 On the Way 影像空間舉辦三場展覽。

The second Involved was presented through three exhibitions at Wen-Hua Senior High School Library, Floating Image, and On the Way.

啟動第五屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」國際交換計畫籌備。

Began preparations for the fifth Exchanging Texture international print exchange.

6月｜第二屆「介質 Involved」於日本神奈川縣相模原市誠文堂展出。

Jun.｜The second Involved was exhibited at Seibundo in Sagamihara, Kanagawa, Japan.

9月｜與台南應用科技大學共同啟動第三屆國際共同創作計畫「介質 Involved」。

Sep.｜Launched the third Involved international collaborative project in partnership with Tainan University of Technology.

10月｜與永良油墨公司簽訂進駐贊助合作，由永良提供全系列25色油墨供進駐藝術家創作與研究使用，游雅蘭為首位參與藝術家。

Oct.｜Established a residency sponsorship with Yong Liang Ink, providing a 25-color ink range for resident artists’ creative practice and research, with Yu Ya-Lan as the first participant.

10月｜負責人吳佩璇獲國藝會「海外藝遊專案」補助，前往美國 Zygote Press 進行綠色版畫研究與機構訪視。

Oct.｜Director Pei-Hsuan Wu conducted research on green printmaking and printmaking organizations at Zygote Press in the United States with support from Taiwan’s National Culture and Arts Foundation.

10月｜第一、二屆「介質 Involved」於美國俄亥俄州 Zygote Press Gallery 展出。

Oct.｜The first and second editions of Involved were exhibited at Zygote Press Gallery in Ohio, USA.

2024

3月｜第五屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」集結臺灣、美國、韓國、泰國、香港、法國、加拿大及以色列共8國與地區98件作品。

Mar.｜The fifth Exchanging Texture featured 98 works from artists across 8 countries and regions.

4月｜啟動「Texture座談」計畫，以不定期線上講座分享版畫技術、創作與研究資訊。

Apr.｜Launched Texture Talks, an ongoing online series sharing printmaking techniques, artistic practices, and research.

5月｜參與「青鳥行動」公民活動，協助民眾絹印藝術家岩無創作「美麗的島，望你順遂」。

May｜Participated in the Bluebird civic movement by facilitating public screen printing of artist Yen-Wu’s work Beautiful Island, May You Be Well.

7月｜「換版 Exchanging Texture」於紐約版畫中心 Print Center New York 的 Publisher Spotlight 展出。

Jul.｜Exchanging Texture was featured in the Publisher Spotlight at Print Center New York.

10月｜第三屆「介質 Involved」集結日本、墨西哥、美國及臺灣共20位藝術家，於台南應用科技大學展出。

Oct.｜The third Involved brought together 20 artists from Japan, Mexico, the United States, and Taiwan for an exhibition at Tainan University of Technology.

10月｜與進駐藝術家 Karen D. Beckwith 及國立高雄師範大學合作舉辦「綠色版畫—檸檬腐蝕石版」工作坊。

Oct.｜Collaborated with resident artist Karen D. Beckwith and National Kaohsiung Normal University on a green printmaking workshop exploring lemon-based lithographic etching.

11月｜與進駐藝術家 Karen D. Beckwith 共同研發「咖啡絹製版」非感光絹印技法。

Nov.｜Developed the Coffee Lift Screen Print process with resident artist Karen D. Beckwith as a non-photo-emulsion screen printing method.

12月｜首場「綠色版畫—咖啡絹製版技法」工作坊於國立潮州高中舉辦。

Dec.｜Presented the first public Coffee Lift Screen Print workshop at National Chao-Chou Senior High School.

2025

1月｜參與藝術家岩無發起的「台灣人・自由人」全臺串聯公民活動，協助民眾現場印製標語。

Jan.｜Participated in artist Yen-Wu’s nationwide “Taiwanese, Free People” civic project by facilitating public printmaking activities.

3月｜第六屆「換版 Exchanging Texture」集結臺灣、美國、韓國、日本、澳洲、法國、義大利、波蘭及香港共9國與地區79件作品。

Mar.｜The sixth Exchanging Texture featured 79 works from artists across 9 countries and regions.

第三屆「介質 Involved」於日本銀座 O Gallery、日本千葉縣富里市立圖書館及美國 Center for Contemporary Printmaking 巡迴展出。

The third Involved was presented at O Gallery Ginza and Tomisato City Library in Japan, and the Center for Contemporary Printmaking in the United States.

6月｜「咖啡絹製版」研究專文刊登於英國《Printmaking Today》2025夏季第134期。

Jun.｜Research on the Coffee Lift Screen Print process was published in Issue 134, Summer 2025, of the UK magazine Printmaking Today.

6月｜與馬來西亞 Lostgens’ Contemporary Art Space 簽訂交換進駐 MoU，預計發展為「IER – International Exchange Residency」計畫第二個國際合作單位。

Jun.｜Signed an exchange residency MoU with Malaysia’s Lostgens’ Contemporary Art Space, with plans to develop the partnership as the second international partner of the International Exchange Residency (IER) program.

7月｜與德國德勒斯登市文化與古蹟保護辦公室簽署交換進駐合作，成為「IER – International Exchange Residency」計畫首個國際合作單位。

Jul.｜Signed an exchange residency agreement with the City of Dresden’s Office for Culture and Monument Protection, establishing the first international partnership of the International Exchange Residency (IER) program.

10月｜與 Goang Xing Paper Mill 廣興紙寮簽訂「贊助合作同意書」，由其提供「版畫紙樣集」供進駐藝術家進行材料研究，義大利藝術家 Caterina De Nisco 為首位使用藝術家。

Oct.｜Signed a sponsorship agreement with Goang Xing Paper Mill （廣興紙寮）, providing printmaking paper sample sets for resident artists’ material research, with Italian artist Caterina De Nisco as the first participating artist.

2026

2月｜法國藝術家 Laure Catugier 以工作室首位「專案合作版畫進駐（Collaborative Print Residency）」藝術家身份進駐 Texture 三個月，結合版畫創作、技術協作與公開分享發展專案。

Feb.｜French artist Laure Catugier became Texture’s first artist-in-residence under the Collaborative Print Residency model, undertaking a three-month residency combining printmaking, technical collaboration, and public engagement.

3月｜首次執行「IER – International Exchange Residency」交換進駐計畫，由臺灣藝術家前往德國德勒斯登進駐，並於臺灣接待德國藝術家。

Mar.｜Launched the first International Exchange Residency (IER) exchange, sending a Taiwanese artist to Dresden and hosting a German artist in Taiwan.

6月｜前往德國德勒斯登舉辦《從居住文化到版印：台灣紋樣的重新詮釋》展覽，並結合咖啡絹印製版技法工作坊（Coffee Lift Screen Print process）進行綠色版畫推廣。

Jun.｜Presented the exhibition From Living Culture to Printmaking: Reinterpreting Taiwanese Patterns / Von der Wohnkultur zur Druckgrafik: Neuinterpretation taiwanischer Muster in Dresden, Germany, accompanied by a Coffee Lift Screen Print workshop promoting green printmaking practices.

7月｜前往德國 Grafikwerkstatt Dresden、德勒斯登藝術學院（HfBK Dresden）等版畫、紙藝與書籍裝幀工坊進行交流與研究，拓展工作室的國際版畫研究網絡。

Jul.｜Texture in research exchanges with Grafikwerkstatt Dresden, the Dresden University of Fine Arts (HfBK Dresden), and printmaking, paper, and bookbinding workshops, further developing the studio’s international research network.

7月｜日本藝術家 Takuro Yokoo 進駐 Texture，以檸檬汁／檸檬酸於平版製程中的應用及臺灣紙材為研究核心，並串聯 Texture、國立高雄師範大學與廣興紙寮進行技術與材料研究。

Jul.｜Japanese artist Takuro Yokoo undertook a research residency at Texture focusing on the use of lemon juice and citric acid in lithographic processes and Taiwanese papers, connecting research between Texture, National Kaohsiung Normal University, and Goang Xing Paper Mill (廣興紙寮).
