Survey Window 1: October 13th - November 15th, 2025
The first survey window will engage network teachers, primarily to gauge PBE model implementation:
Survey Window 2: January 12th - February 15th, 2026
The second survey window will engage school families for the following survey:
Survey Window 3: May 1st - 31st, 2026
The third survey window will engage both students and teachers. The goal of this window is to both assess students and teacher perceptions of PBE model implementation and to track student perceptions of key social-emotional learning domains:
One note* we survey students in grade bands 3-12 using a single survey link. Students below grade 3 are not included within Place Network surveys. For survey information for specific audiences, please click the appropriate button below:
Survey responses from teachers are confidential and survey responses from students are anonymous. Some teachers might be concerned about a survey that is not anonymous, so here’s some more information about what we mean when we say “confidential.” "Confidential" for these surveys means that:
School leaders/advocates will not be able to see individual teacher responses attached to teacher names. They will just be able to view their summary.
We (TSS) can easily see in real time whether or not individuals have responded to the survey, but we cannot see teachers’ responses unless we ask the survey company to share that information with us.
We (TSS) could, in theory, ask to see individual teacher responses. However, this is not readily available to us, and we don't want it! We do get the survey company to get responses "de-identified." This means that, once our survey closes, we would be able to match individual responses between PBE implementation & well-being scores (for example), but we wouldn't know who that was.
That last part is so important for us to know whether or not we're really having impact, and will also let us understand change over time--knowing which responses are from teachers who have completed the survey over time, and being able to match it to future responses or responses on various questions. (For example,” all of these particular teachers said they are implementing PBE AND find their jobs meaningful.”) This also could be important information for you to use to share the impact of your work with those in your wider school community.
