Camiguin Province is known as “an island born of fire”. It has four major volcanoes and at
least five other related volcanic centers. This island province, with one congressional district, is the second smallest province in the country. The pear-shape island composed of five municipalities Catarman, Guinsiliban, Mahinog, Mambajao and Sagay with 58 barangays all in all. Mambajao is the capital town of the province, which covers 38% of the total land area of the province. Its primary industry is Tourism however its Investment Priority Areas for the past five years includes not only Tourism-based (Farm-tourism/Nature’sPark Hotels/Cottages/ Restaurants /Pharmacies, Tourist Spots Development, Expansion and Rehabilitation and Recreational Facilities (theme parks, sports, nature trek, etc.)), but also includes Agriculture-based ((1). Post-harvest like Cold Storage/Refrigerated Transport System, 2.) Fruits & High-Value Crops Production like Cutflower & Ornamental Plants, Spices, Vegetables, Fruits (lanzones, mango and calamansi), Banana (cavendish and lakatan). 3.) Food Processing like Fruit, Fish, Meat, Vegetables, Baked (original Camiguin delicacies), Integrated Coco Processing Facilities, 4.) Aqua Culture like Bangus, Lapu-lapu, Mamsa, Tilapia and Siganid (ketong), Crabs, Shrimps & Oysters 5.) Minor Forest Products like Nito Production and Processing, Bamboo Production and Processing, Abaca Production
and Processing), Infrastructure-support (Port Expansion, Power (Renewable Power (Wind Mill,Bio-Fuel, etc.), Telecommunications (Upgrading of TELCOs/Internet connections)), Sea/Land/Air Transportation (Fast Ferry (passenger, roro), Tourist Coasters (bus, van)), Medical and Health Facilities (Hospital and Wellness Center/Medical Tourism/Spa), and Information Technology (IT) Services (Business Process Outsourcing (BPOs) and Internet Café).

Personnel Compliments. There are seven (7) permanent plantilla positions approved for TESDA Camiguin: Director III (1), Supervising TESD Specialist (1), Senior TESD Specialist (1), TESD Specialist II (1), Administrative Officer V (1), Administrative Officer IV (1), and Administrative Aide IV (1).
Office: TESDA Camiguin Provincial Office is currently rented at a building owned by the LGU, Mambajao. It is located at P. Reyes Street, Poblacion, Mambajao, Camiugin. It has 4 schools, 2 public, 1 private and 1 farm school.
There are 33 registered programs in 19 qualifications in 7 sectors and 15 active in-province NTTC holder trainers and 3 accredited assessment centers in 20 qualifications in 8 sectors 48 competency assessors in 19 qualifications in 7 sectors.

Strategies to achieve current targets include partnering and convergence with other national agencies, local government units, and private institutions and organizations. The province also practices diversification of program offerings through Mobile Training Program (MTP) to conduct trainings for in-demand skills not offered by its local institutions.

To improve the quality of life of the people through the provision of sufficient employment opportunities by harnessing, the resource potentials of the province particularly its tourism industry
Development Objectives
Its general objective is to attain a well-balanced, environmentally harmonious and sustainable eco-tourism development coupled with agri-industrialization.
The specific objectives are as follows:
