ASSAT extends warm welcome to new TESDA Provincial Director 

Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur – The Agusan del Sur School of Arts and Trades (ASSAT) warmly welcomed the newly appointed TESDA Provincial Director, Remegias “Rem” Timonio, during a welcome ceremony held at the ASSAT Multimedia Room on August 1, 2024.

The event brought together ASSAT faculty and staff, TESDA Agusan del Sur Provincial Training Center (PTC) personnel, and TESDA Provincial Office personnel to meet and greet the new provincial director. Acting Vocational School Administrator Meriam U. Cultura, PTC Administrator Marivel Padino, and TESDA Provincial Office Supervising TESD Specialist Cherry Ann P. De Guzman led the welcome activities..

During the gathering, the operating unit heads expressed their 100% full support for Director Timonio and his leadership. In response, Director Timonio expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration among TESDA personnel. He also encouraged everyone to prioritize their health and wellness, even issuing a friendly challenge for a “biggest loser” competition.

The Provincial Director's emphasis to be "MAD" - Make A Difference - is a call to action for everyone in the province to actively contribute to positive change.

Director Timonio's leadership is expected to bring new initiatives and directions to TESDA Agusan del Sur, and ASSAT is committed to working closely with the provincial office to achieve the agency's goals.
