Delta Sigma Pi – Gamma Sigma Chapter Mobile Application

By downloading, installing, or using The DSP App (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the App.
To use the App, you must:
Be a current member, pledge, officer, or other authorized user of the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Sigma Chapter;
Be at least 13 years of age (typically 18+ as a college student);
Have the authority to enter into this agreement; and
Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws, university policies, and fraternity regulations.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during registration;
Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials;
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach; and
Maintain only one active account per individual.
You are solely responsible for all activity conducted under your account.
The DSP App is a platform designed to enhance member engagement and professional development within the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Sigma Chapter through features such as:
Member Engagement: Event attendance tracking and point management;
Professional Networking: Chapter connections and career-related communication;
Communication: Chapter announcements, push notifications, and updates;
Event Management: Calendar integration and attendance verification;
Administrative Tools: Officer-level tools for event and membership management; and
Achievement Tracking: Recognition of points, milestones, and rankings.
The App is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. While we strive for reliable performance, uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed. Access may be temporarily limited during maintenance or updates, and features may change with or without notice.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purposes and in accordance with:
The values and principles of Delta Sigma Pi;
Your university’s code of conduct; and
Applicable laws and regulations.
You may not:
Harass or Discriminate: Engage in bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory conduct;
Spread Misinformation: Post false or misleading event or member information;
Violate Privacy: Share another member’s personal information without consent;
Disrupt the App: Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or damage the App’s functionality;
Impersonate Others: Misrepresent your identity or role within the fraternity;
Share Illegal Content: Post or promote illegal or inappropriate materials; or
Spam Users: Send unsolicited or excessive communications.
All user content must:
Reflect Delta Sigma Pi’s core values of service, scholarship, and brotherhood;
Maintain professionalism suitable for a business and educational environment;
Respect privacy, dignity, and intellectual property rights; and
Comply with all copyright and fair use laws.
Your use of the App is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated by reference into these Terms. Key data practices include:
Collecting membership and academic information for verification;
Tracking attendance and participation data;
Securing all personal data using encryption and restricted access; and
Sharing information only for legitimate fraternity and administrative purposes.
By using the App, you consent to receive:
Chapter and event notifications;
Administrative communications from officers; and
Achievement and technical updates.
You may opt out of non-essential communications via your account settings.
The DSP App, including its software, content, design, and features, is the exclusive property of the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Sigma Chapter and its licensors, protected under intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of your content but grant the fraternity a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Display and process your data for App functionality;
Share achievements and participation data with authorized officers; and
Archive historical records for chapter documentation.
All Delta Sigma Pi logos, marks, and branding are protected property. You may not use them without prior written authorization.
Your account may be suspended if you:
Violate these Terms or Community Guidelines;
Engage in misconduct or harassment;
Pose a security risk; or
Lose membership or enrollment eligibility.
Your account may be terminated for:
Serious or repeated violations of these Terms;
Fraudulent or unauthorized activity; or
Official request by chapter leadership or the university.
Upon termination:
Your personal data will be managed in accordance with the Privacy Policy;
Historical records may be retained for chapter archives;
You may request full data deletion, subject to legal and recordkeeping requirements; and
All App access will be revoked immediately.
The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Sigma Chapter does not guarantee:
Error-free or uninterrupted service;
Accuracy or reliability of all information; or
Compatibility across all devices or systems.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
The fraternity and its representatives are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
Total liability will not exceed the amount paid for use of the App (if any); and
We are not responsible for damages caused by user misconduct or third-party actions.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Sigma Chapter, its officers, and representatives against any claims, losses, or damages resulting from:
Your use or misuse of the App;
Your violation of these Terms or laws; or
Infringement of third-party rights.
Before initiating formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution through:
Direct discussion with chapter leadership; or
Mediation under Delta Sigma Pi’s internal procedures.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally:
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [Insert State].
Jurisdiction: Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the courts of [Insert County/State].
Arbitration: Certain disputes may be subject to binding arbitration.
Class Action Waiver: Disputes must be brought individually, not as part of a class action.
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material updates will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
The App may receive updates that add, remove, or modify features. Some updates may be mandatory to maintain access.

Chapter Officers: Contact your chapter leadership or university safety services immediately.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, form the entire agreement between you and the Delta Sigma Pi Gamma Sigma Chapter regarding the App.
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms or any rights herein. The fraternity may assign its rights and obligations to affiliated entities or successors.
By using The DSP App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.
