Dermatology Club
Mission Statement
As a student organization, our main purpose is it to broaden the field of Podiatry through
the study of Dermatology as it relates to Podiatric Medicine. Our aim is to hold informative
lectures, discussions, and foster student involvement. This will help achieve our goal of
increasing awareness regarding normal and pathologic skin and nail conditions.
Furthermore, we will have the opportunity to present the latest scientific research and the
latest publications related to dermatologic issues through dynamic speakers and article
presentations. Working together with the Temple University faculty and local groups,
including Department of Dermatology at Temple University hospital, will gain insight into
the possibilities for dermatologic analysis in the Podiatric arena.
