The charting section shows visualizations of your data in different chart formats. You must have at least 1 row and 1 column in a report to be able to see the charts. There are different charting modes and views available for you to visualize your data.
Single target lets you view a chart for every column/target in your crosstab. In this mode, every chart exists in its own panel and for the individual chart panels, you can download/export a chart, apply a filter to the chart, show a data table, add a note to a chart, or open the individual chart settings.
In the Default view, the target dropdown allows you choose to view only a single column at a time.
In the dynamic view, you have the option to apply custom audiences, by using the custom audience dropdown, to your charts for analysis and visualizations.
Combined targets lets you view all the columns in a single charting panel.
When you have trending reports, Surveys group allows you to view a single target with multiple surveys grouped into a chart. This allows you to analyze the trend of a single target from one survey to the next.
When using trending reports, Insights group allows you to view a single target with multiple insights (rows) grouped into a chart. This allows you to analyze the trend of insights across different surveys.
Both global and individual chart settings allow you to change the following:
Chart title: Title of the charts
Primary data item & Primary chart type: The primary data item showed on the chart and the type of chart used to show the data item
Sort column: Choose the column to use to sort the data. In global chart settings, you can choose between only the primary and secondary columns.
Column sort order: The order of which to sort the columns
Secondary data item & Secondary chart type: Choose the secondary data item to show on the chart (a combined chart will be created) and choose the type of chart. Note that depending on the primary chart type, you might not see the option of choosing a secondary chart
Flag row resps: Allows you to set the a flag for when the respondents fall at or below a threshold.
Top rows count: Lets you choose the top rows to show based on the selected primary data item.
Note that Global chart settings will apply to all the charts in the visalizations section.
Pmaps (Perceptual mapping) also known as positional mapping or brand positioning, is a tool that allows you to have a graphical representation of how customers perceive a product or brand displayed on a chart.
Pmaps is accessed from the left hand side navigation
Change mapping: Change how the crosstab data is mapped. You can choose to graph 1 data item by 2 columns or graph a column or target by 2 data items.
Change data: Allows you to choose what data is shown on the graph
Geografix allows you to graph data items on the crosstab on a map. This is only available for surveys that have geographical data available (Mappable surveys).
When you are in a mappable survey, there will be a “Geografix” option in the left hand side navigation menu.
Geografix surveys allow you to choose a column to show on a map and the data item as well. Ou have the option to set a heatmap distribution to analyze the data
