December 6, 2023: Version 0.18.0

Visual Code Builder

• VCB now slides out front from the codebook. All functionality remains the same.

• This change was made so that users do not have to reopen categories and sub-categories when working with the codebook

Dynamic view: Combined targets

• Allows users to compare multiple audiences (targets) across insights

Other updates

• Filter bar and search bar have same length

• REL and ABS scores in Correspondence Analysis tables are now aligned

December 1, 2023: Version 0.17.0

Drag and drop in Coding Grid

• Drag and drop to rearrange items is now available in the coding grid! This feature allows users to easily and intuitively arrange items in their rows or columns by dragging and dropping them

• Works with single or multiple items selected, and the user will see a UI indicator to allow them to drop items accurately

Change Title Mode in Stat Apps & P-maps

• User can now change title mode in Cluster, Correspondence, Audience Effects and P-Maps

• Accessible from the new Title mode button in top right of the graph/data views of each module

• Title settings will be independent of each module/stat app i.e. a title mode change does not change title mode in the crosstab

Name your report popup

• New pop up when a user starts creating a crosstab

• Allows user to name, give description and choose the drive to save it in from the onset of a report creation

• Default name for unnamed reports is now New report in stead of new crosstab.

Complete Cases option for YouGov surveys

• Users can now activate the complete cases option in YouGov surveys

Ability to move data labels in Correspondence and P-maps graphs

• User are now able to move labels in Correspondence and P-maps charts

• Labels will have a line connecting the label to the appropriate data point

• Users can now hold down shift key to select bulk items

• Codebook categories

• Codebook categories now respects the pre-defined data structures as defined by category-filter properties.

• This is a technical change to make sure the categories respect v1 categories, and what the data team loads.

Chart export limit

• There is now a limit of 150 charts that can be exported at a time. This is for performance reasons and  UX reasons, to prevent Explore from crashing during a long wait.

Graph updates

• P-maps and correspondence analysis graphs will now show a centralized graph by default. Users can zoom into an area by drawing a box around the data points

• As a result, by default, the first time a graph is viewed in P-Maps or in Correspondence, the data labels will be switched off.

Manage custom audiences feature

A dedicated space for user to manage their custom audience with the following capabilities:

• View all your custom audiences

• Import a custom audience

• Export a custom audience

• Edit a custom audience

• Rename a custom audience

• Tag a custom audience 

Find and replace

Ability to search for keywords in the coding grid and replace them as well. It has the following abilities:

• Search for keywords in the following columns: Title, Code & Group name

• Replace keywords in the following columns: Title, Code & Group name

• Search in different columns

• Match cases

• Cmd + F and ctrl + F shortcuts

Annotation Mode

Annotation mode added to Correspondence analysis which allows users to draw lines and make notes on the graph

• Dedicated annotation mode that can be activated and deactivated

• Ability to draw lines and make notes on the graph

• Ability to edit drawn lines and notes 

Other updates

• REL Score added to correspondence analysis table

• Drag and drop to combine from the codebook to the coding grid

• Auth groups shown properly as part of the title

October 17, 2023: Version 0.15.0

New Features

The following new features and capabilities were added in this release:

• Global sorting in Separated rank: When working in Separated rank reports, Explore now has the ability to extend a sort from one table to all other tables that are part of the Separated rank report. This will make it easier for you to manage documents with numerous columns and tables.

• Manual coding: In the coding grid, you now have the ability to enter in a code directly into the title or code columns. This will allow power users the ability to code as they please without having to rely on the codebook.

Minor bug fixes and performance improvements

October 3, 2023: Version 0.14.0

New Features

The following new features and capabilities were added in this release:

• Ability to delete all rows and columns: You can now delete all rows or all columns from the right click menu on a column or row. This can be done in the report view, or from the delete options in the coding grid right hand menu. Also in the coding grid, you can delete the entire grid (including tables)

• Change the data items decimals: From the data items pop-up you can now set the number of decimals for the document. This will reset all sorting/filtering on the document

• Custom audiences can now be saved through the right click menu in the coding grid

• Audience size in Visual Code Builder: When using the Visual Code Builder you will now see the option to view a preview of your audience size and respondent size without having to exit the Visual Code Builder

• Title mode toggles in Visual Code Builder: When using the Visual Code Builder there are toggles that will allow you to change the titles of the code to make it easier to edit the code

• Ability to delete all columns and rows: You can now delete all columns and rows in a document by right clicking on a row or column in the report view and choosing the 'Delete all rows & columns' option

• Using the spacebar while trying to search for a tablebase will no longer close the tablebase dropdown selector
