Standardized: Students test alone for a clean read on what they can do.
Nonstandardized: project an item, create a game with AI that embeds the questions, and let students work through problems so you can hear their thinking. Choose based on your question.
She gave it standardized on November 14, the week after the unit, to see what students could do alone. Results came back the same week. She hand scored Item 7 before opening the report.
A week later she projected Item 2 nonstandardized and asked students to defend all four choices. Same item, a different question.
