There are a few ways you can go about creating your account at Treehouse. 

Register for an individual plan on our website

1. Visit https://teamtreehouse.com.

2. Select Free Trial in the main nav bar at the top of the page, or the "Claim free Trial" option after entering your name and email address.

3. Pick the plan you wish to start your 7-day free trial on. (Not sure which plan to choose? See the FAQ below this one.)

4. Enter your information and complete the process by pressing the green Join Treehouse button at the bottom of the form.

Register as an organization, library, or school

1. Visit https://teamtreehouse.com/business.

2. Select the Get Started button.

3. Fill out your organization's details and send it off with the Get in Touch! button.

4. A member of our Organization's team will be in contact with you shortly.

Techdegree

Starting at $199/month, our Techdegree program is a rigorous project-based program that challenges you to build 5-10 real-world projects that will help reinforce learning and give you something to showcase on your resume. These projects are completely unique to the Techdegree itself and become more challenging as you go along.

Treehouse Tracks are curated curriculums that cover all relevant Courses and Workshops necessary to master a subject. Tracks are self-guided and consist of courses, workshops, and other learning content assembled into a single module to give a user a complete understanding of a subject or subject are. Treehouse’s learning library includes roughly 50 Tracks on a variety of topics.

Techdegree is an online bootcamp-style program that guides students through a full curriculum of Treehouse learning, culminating with a final exam and digital certificate via Accredible. To earn a Techdegree, students complete a series of projects for your professional portfolio. Techdegree learning includes video courses, workshops, interactive quizzes and code challenges, and access to the exclusive Techdegree Slack community for live support. We offer 5 distinct Techdegree programs. A student may be enrolled in only one at a time. Techdegree students have access to our entire learning library, including Tracks, as well as the curriculum for their chosen Techdegree.

If we're unable to authorize your card, you'll need to reach out to your financial institution to determine why that is. Many credit cards have fraud protection enabled, and it'll sometimes get flagged when an online business attempts to authorize. 

If credit card doesn't work, we also accept PayPal (not available in some countries).

Yes! We offer a discount to all military members, Veterans, and their families on our Courses and Techdegree bootcamps, starting at just $15 per month. Visit this page to learn more and to request a military discount.

In addition, Treehouse is proud to partner with Operation Code, a non-profit organization committed to leading the way in expanding opportunities for military Veterans and their families within the technology sector. We provide Operation Code with fully funded Techdegree scholarships.
