Khan Academy has resources for the Praxis Core exam, which is helpful if you are placed in elementary, middle school math, or English language arts. I highly recommend using this awesome tool, which even gives you projections for how long you need to study to be prepared. If you are placed in math or English language arts, stick to using the resources for the aligned section of the core exam. You can sign up on at khanacademy.org.

What about taking the Praxis during the COVID19 pandemic?
The Educational Testing Service (ETS) is providing a Praxis At Home option for some licensure tests, that will allow you to take Praxis exams from the comfort of your own home. Testing (and now testing at home) is the primary pathway to securing a license, as it remains a Tennessee State Board of Education requirement. If your exam is not available to take from home know that ETS is taking precautious to ensure safe testing environments in their centers, including reduced number of test takers per session and mask requirements.
What if I am already licensed in a different state?
If you are already licensed in a different state or if you will obtain an educator licensure post-grad, please consult with Cherish Roberts about next steps. You can email her directly to set up a time to connect.
TN DOE typically requires educators transferring an out of state license to take all required TN praxis exams. However, it is highly recommended that CMs reach out to the state prior to spending additional money and time to confirm this information. Last year several of our candidates that received their degrees and teaching license from GA did not have to take the content exams for their EPP, but the TN DOE required them to do so. Again, it depends on the out of state EPP and program requirements.
Michael Duerlein Michael.Deurlein@tn.gov or Shaye Olmstead Shaye.Olmstead@tn.gov at the TN DOE are good contacts to email.
