At CCSD's State of the Schools in March, the Superintendent shared some sobering data- 35% of 3-5th grade students are proficient in reading compared to 50% pre-pandemic. The gaps are huge for Black & Latinx students and even larger for ELL students & those with IEPs.

Washington Post  "Teachers in Clark County, Nev., say they have never felt less safe."
