Five Learning Principles
That Grow Collective Leadership and Distinguish Transformational Classrooms
If we expect students in our classrooms to learn differently, we must help adults in our classrooms to learn differently. Our studies of transformational adults in and around classrooms reveal common patterns in how they have learned and grown—and those same learning conditions enable students’ growth as leaders. These Learning Principles are important for nurturing the Practices and Perspectives of collective leadership.
