Ill Student Criteria
It is recommended that your student should stay at home if any of these symptoms exist:
Fever 100.0 F or greater
Body aches
Chills
Cough
Sore throat
Severe Headache
Rash
Shortness of Breath
Difficulty Breathing
Loss of taste or smell
Nausea/ Vomiting/ Diarrhea
**Students must be fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-suppressing medications before returning to school. (Fever is 100.0 or greater)
**Students must be diarrhea-free for 24 hours without the use of diarrhea-suppressing medications before returning to school (Diarrhea is 3 or more episodes of loose stools in a 24 hour period).

Students that test positive for COVID must quarantine for 5 days (day 0 = day of positive test; student able to return on day 6)
If your child tests positive for COVID please EMAIL me all information
Student's full name
Date of positive test
What signs/symptoms the child is experiencing & day of onset
Any other pertinent information
I will then create a COVID report for that student and email the parent back confirming the "return to school" date for the student
Lice Policy
If your student is confirmed to have lice/nits, please let the Nurse know as soon as possible. Student names are kept confidential, but a notification will be sent to parents in the classroom of the student that has an active case of lice. A student with lice is NOT excluded from school. Please talk with your student(s) about the importance of not sharing hats, coats, combs or brushes with other students at school.
