The Library

I have worked in Fort Worth ISD for many years. During that time, I've taught in elementary schools, provided instructional support to teachers, and now I share my love of reading and technology with scholars daily.

I have four children and two grandchildren. They all make my heart smile. Two of my grandchildren live ten minutes away from me. So a lot of my days are filled with hugs, kisses, and smiling faces.

My goals for our scholars are to help them develop a love for reading and empower them to use technology that will help them think, create, and solve problems.

Who doesn't like to have a good picture book read to them? Visit Storyline Online to have some of your favorite pictures books read to you by famous actors like Viola Davis, Kevin Costner or Oprah Winfrey.

All of our subscription online resources have been curated at https://sites.google.com/site/fwisdonlinelibrary/home.

The generic username (ftworth) and password (fwisd) has been posted temporarily on the home page to assist students and teachers who want to access the resources.

In addition to our paid, subscription resources, we've added a page of recommended OERs (Open Educational Resources) https://sites.google.com/site/fwisdonlinelibrary/oers-by-category that include sites such as Code.org, Common Sense Education, and Storyline Online.
