Ms. Anderson teaches Italian and Discovering Languages and Cultures at WLI. This is her first year at our school. She enjoys WLI's international culture, wonderful organization, friendly faculty, and of course, our great students.

Ms. Anderson was born in Romania, but has lived in the U.S. since 1997. She studied Italian and Latin in Romania, and later lived and worked in Naples, Italy. She received her master's degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.

Outside of school, Ms. Anderson teaches drawing and painting. She also enjoys writing and translating poetry and fiction, and is a published author!

College Knowledge

College Spotlight:

Many UTA alumni work at WLI, including Ms. Mosbeux and Mrs. Gross. UTA is a highly diverse school which is especially well-known for engineering, nursing and business majors.

Major is the subject that you take the most classes in at college. This is what you specialize in to prepare you for your future career. For example, if you want to be a doctor, you should probably major in Biology.

Minor is your next highest concentration of classes. This is a way to develop a special interest. Maybe you'd like to work for the non-profit organization Doctors Without Borders, so you minor in French to develop your language skills.
