Inclusion has always been a part of the TDSB Special Education Plan.  The TDSB, through its Special Education Department, is committed to active and meaningful collaboration with students, parents/guardians/caregivers, schools and agencies to ensure that learning needs of all students with exceptionalities are met in the most equitable and inclusionary environments possible.  

In some cases, based on a child's exceptional needs, a Special Education placement may be appropriate.

This may be helpful to complete as your child prepares to enter the school environment.  Some of the tasks may not be applicable to the environment that your child is used to, however, this checklist gives an indication of some of the skills that your child will be working on in the Kindergarten program.
