Student Success & Academic Pathways

At Westview, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed. With the implementation of our student success initiatives, students are supported academically and socially, while being given the opportunity to build upon their strengths. Our student success team includes: Principal, Vice-Principals, ACL of Student Success, Guidance, Social Workers, Child & Youth Worker (CYW) Special Education and Classroom Teachers. This team works together to ensure each student is supported in building their own unique pathway through high school while achieving success at Westview.

How does Student Success help our students?

• Offering academic support in order to improve outcomes related to achievement and graduation.

• Benefit from programming that can help support the overall student's need (homework help, mentorship, etc.)

• Support on matters they may have previously faced alone.
