Grades 1-4 at Oakridge are on a Balanced-Day timetable: Starting in September 2026, we have two "Wellness Breaks" - two opportunities to eat and have free play outside. We are one of fourteen proud TDSB elementary schools to take part in the Balanced Day Pilot Project. Kindergarten and ISP classes will remain on the traditional timetable.

What to Wear?
English:
At Oakridge, we encourage students to dress for the weather so they can play, learn, and explore comfortably. The drawings in this section show examples of clothing for cold and warm weather. Every child is different - some may need extra layers or lighter clothes depending on their comfort. If your family needs help with winter items like coats, boots, hats, or mitts, please visit the office or talk to your child’s teacher. We’re here to help!
