The Math Program at MPC
We are proud to offer a diverse range of courses that allows students to achieve success along a variety of pathways. Math courses in Grades 9 and 10 are now "destreamed", but different course options and pathways become available in Grade 11 (shown in the graphic below). For more information on these courses, please visit our "Course Outlines" page or visit the Ontario Math Curriculum website.
While we fully acknowledge and support a student's right to choose their own math pathway, we also wish to provide our students with the tools they need to be successful. Please scroll down to our Off-Season Training section for an opportunity to work on your skills before your next math course. Additionally, you can access free online tutoring provided by the TDSB to support your math journey.
Off-Season Training
To help students bridge learning gaps and enhance skills, the MPC Math Department has curated an online math training program for students to continue learning while between math courses.
We invite all of our students to take advantage of these online learning opportunities, but students who have achieved a grade of 70% or less would benefit most from this extra work.
Please review below to locate where you are in your math journey and explore the listed resources to find what will work best for you.
