Civics & Careers (CHV2O and GLC2O - 0.5 each)
If you are in French, you must also choose:

We also recommend that all subject courses offered in Extended/Immersion be selected (i.e.) CHC2D4/5, CHV2O4/5, GLC2O4/5 and possibly MPM2D5 if you are an Immersion student and took MPM1D5 in grade 9.
NOTE: Be sure to count your Extended and Immersion credits to ensure you have enough to graduate with your certificate:
Extended - 7 credits (8 for Honours)
Immersion - 10 credits (11 for Honours)
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the required amount.
The remaining elective/optional courses should be made with the following in mind:
Other diploma requirements (see myBlueprint)
Check to see if there are any other compulsory courses you are missing; for example group 1, or group 2, or group 3
Check that you have the prerequisites for the grade 11 courses you are interested in
Your interests, your skills, and your career ideas
Students should consider their post-secondary destinations & maintain a breadth of course choices to keep their options open
NOTE: If you failed a grade 9 core course (English, Math, Science, Geography, French) you should put this into your timetable for next year, if you are not doing credit recovery. If you successfully complete the course in Night School, credit recovery or summer school, Guidance will change your timetable for next year (i.e. put in the appropriate grade 10 course). This course will be selected from your alternates.
