ADA 1O1

In ESL Drama, students who have acquired basic English learn the language and conventions of theatre and storytelling while building confidence and communication skills. We explore theatrical techniques for conveying meaning through movement, voice, and facial expressions. Drama class also enhances social skills and allows students to explore conflict in a safe space, helping them adjust to Canadian culture. In a typical semester students will apply their skills in 1-2 group performances at school events.

ADA 2O1

In 2O1 students will be called upon to take leadership roles during class activities and performances and will have elevated expectations and materials for assignments.
