Visual Arts (AVI 1/2O1)

Students enrolled in Visual Arts will become familiar with the language used to examine the qualities of producing and interpreting art by learning the elements and principles of design. They will use a variety of materials including graphite, watercolour and pastel to create expressive artworks that showcase students interests and culture. Students are able to work with a range of processes, techniques and styles to create art confidently. The course is made up of studio time where students are able to produce meaningful art works, build relationships with other students and engage in the topic of art through language acquisition.
