To our new Extended Day Program students:

Extended Day Programs (EDP) provide seamless learning for children from Kindergarten to Grade 6 who require care before school starts and at the end of the school day. Children will develop skills such as collaboration, responsibility, problem-solving, creativity, citizenship and leadership through interesting activities.

Extended Day Programs will be delivered by TDSB staff including Designated Early Childhood Educators.

Our shared mindset of "Children, Families and Educators being competent of complex thinking, caring, curious, rich in potential and experiences" will align our actions with this belief and hold us accountable in establishing and nurturing an asset, strength based view of all stakeholders. All learning opportunities and experiences will promote the foundations of Belonging, Engagement, Expression and Well-Being as these are the areas that ensure optimal learning and healthy development in early years programs.
