Sandstone or Conglomerate

If most of your rock has sandy grains in it, then you have sandstone! It can come in many different colours such as grey, red, and beige.

If your rock has gravel/pebbles in it that have very sharp angles, then it is a Breccia. It came from land or a cliff where it broke off then was buried.

If your rock has gravel/pebbles in it that are rounded, then it is a Conglomerate! It came from an aquatic place such as a river or an ocean where water and waves rounded the pebbles.
