Geography (CGC 1D8)
The Geography course provides an opportunity for students to learn about Canada’s physical landscape and climate, resource based economy, diverse population and communities. Throughout these units of study, students make connections with other parts of the world, specifically the countries in which they are coming from. They are able to engage in a critical investigation of the geographical issues that exist in Canada and in their home country. By learning more about Canada, students are able to develop ideas about making Canada a sustainable place to live, especially in the GTA.
