With wait lists of up to one year across all children’s mental health agencies, our Walk-in Clinics meets a real and urgent need. In many cases, Skylark’s expertly trained clinicians can make a tangible difference in just one session, but we can also refer clients to other services if needed and Walk-in can be used more than once if necessary. At Skylark, we provide free mental health services for children, youth and their families – no health card required and no appointment necessary. Many parents and caregivers find it helpful to consult with a therapist without their child present and are welcome to visit Walk-in on their own.
