Concert Band

This is an ensemble open to all music students. We will rehearse on Wednesday after school and perform at events such as the Winter Concert, OBA Concert Band Festival, Spring Concert, and maybe even MusicFest Nationals!

Stage Band 

Director: Mrs. Kilbride

This musical ensemble that meets once a week to perform various styles of music including Blues, Jazz, Funk, Pop, and more.

Students must be taking a music course to participate and must perform on the following instruments: trumpet, trombone, saxophone, electric guitar, bass guitar, drums/aux percussion, piano 

The group performs at all Bethune Music Concerts and attends a Jazz Festival as well.

Bethune Singers

Director: Mr. Ross

Description: This choir is open to all music students in grade 9-12.  The group meets on Thursdays after school in C102 and perform at events such as the Winter Concert, Ontario Vocal Festival, Spring Concert, Remembrance Day Assembly, and more.

Wind Ensemble

Description: This is an ensemble open to music students in grade 10, 11, and 12. All students must be taking the AMR credit which takes place on Tuesdays after school and Friday mornings. The group perform at events such as the Winter Concert, OBA Concert Band Festival, Spring Concert, Remembrance Day Assemby, Grade 8 info night, and more.
