Lettering is optional for NHS members; however, earning an NHS letter is a significant honor that recognizes students as exemplifying the highest standards at TCU.
Volunteer for 15 hours of an approved In-School NHS activity during the school year. These opportunities are listed in the NHS Approved In-School/Community Activities section.
Volunteer for 15 hours of an approved Community NHS activity during the school year. These opportunities are listed in the NHS Approved In-School/Community Activities section.
Volunteer for 15 hours of "flexible hours" during the school year. These hours can be any non-NHS approved In-School or Community sponsored activity (i.e. volunteering with your church, scouts, etc). These hours can also be additional hours accumulated above and beyond the 15 hours of In-School or Community sponsored NHS activities (listed directly above).
May not miss more than one NHS monthly meeting during the school year.

NOTE: Completing the 45 hours will award an NHS Pin at the Induction ceremony. However, if the member would like a gold honor sash for graduation ceremony, an additional 10 hours of In-School, 10 hours of Community, and 10 hours of flexible hours must be completed within the school year.
