How many pieces of each uniform item do we need?
We would suggest 2 kilts/pants and 5 shirts to start, along with a blazer. We would recommend 7-10 pairs or socks and one School tie (available in the school store). We also sell gently-used uniform items on campus (within the Bear Boutique); this can be helpful when students grow and need to replace items, or want to supplement their uniform collection.
I am not able to book an appointment with our family doctor until late summer; can I hand in the student health form after that?
Please download and print the form. Complete pages 1&4 and have your child's physician complete pages 2 & 3 (part 2) of the Student Health Certificate. Once the form is completed, please scan and upload it. You can submit pages 1 & 4 first if you are waiting to have your doctor complete pages 2&3.
Do I need to complete all the health forms even if they do not apply to my child?
Each form has space to indicate if it does not apply to your child. It is helpful for our health service staff to have a complete set of forms for each student.

The donated items will be available for purchase at a substantial saving starting in late August and September. Replacement uniform items are available throughout the school year as well.
Please contact guild@tcs.on.ca if you require assistance with used uniform purchases. Alternatively, you can leave a message on the Bear Boutique voicemail at 905-885-3217 ext. 1298, which will be checked intermittently during the summer.

What is the cell phone policy at TCS?
The Junior School recognizes that electronic devices are useful tools for scheduling and communication. However, these devices can be a distraction from learning and, as such, will be turned off and securely stored by students at the start of each day and then unlocked at the end of the day. The use of electronic devices to call or text is only permitted after the school day has ended. Students are forbidden, for health and safety reasons, to share phones. Students may use the school telephones with teacher permission.
How do we register for the bus?
The day bus registration/designate consent form is included on the enrolment checklist for day families (under optional items). If you would like to register for bussing services, please complete and submit this form when you are completing the other enrolment forms.
Can I pick up my child at a different location if needed?
You just need to contact the travel office at 905-885-3217 ext. 1257, to inform them of the change. It is best to do this during our business hours, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Do we get confirmation of the bus location?
Yes. The travel office reaches out to families in late August to confirm bussing.
