Introduction to Google Sheets - Teacher-Led - Feel free to use the short instructional videos here for for large group instruction.
- Teacher Demonstrates:
  - how to enter the title, text, and numbers into the spreadsheet
  - how to create a chart with the data entered
- See a 25 second First Chart video tutorial here
Teacher will use the Ice Cream Flavor tally here to poll the class on their favorite ice cream. Write or display results on the board in the classroom.
Students will create a spreadsheet and chart with ice cream flavors. Look here for an example!
Title your Google sheet "Favorite Ice Cream Flavors".

Assign Enrichment: Students work on enrichment activities when finished.

Students will continue to work on their Favorite Ice Cream Flavors Google Sheet.
- Students will finish adding a chart and image to their Google Sheet.
Students will finish spreadsheet in Google Sheets.
When done, teacher will check your spreadsheet from your computer screen.

Online Safety - watch the video with your teacher or individually. Teacher - stop the video and discuss information periodically with students as video progresses.
Challenge - take the graded challenge (review if you need to first) and let your teacher know your final score.
