It is also great for communication and learning. Studies have shown that it helps people talk openly and nicely, leading to better learning and relationships. (source)
Divide into 4 stations/corners in the room. Find a flipchart and markers.
You each have 5 minutes to write on the flip chart:
Their name and school district
The main technology they oversee (1-2 sentences)
One key challenge in their district (1-2 sentences)
How could adopting a Beginner's Mindset be helpful?
Select a spokesperson
Each spokesperson introduces their corner members, sharing what they wrote about themselves on the flipchart
As a group, collaboratively draw the technology hierarchy/organization in your district with key roles
Be sure to include the following:
decision-making processes,
budgets
biggest priorities
project management

Rotate to view each corners' organization charts
Leave comments, questions on sticky notes, compare to your own corner
Reconvene as corner groups. Each group shares highlights/takeaways from what they saw
Large group discussion about similarities and differences in district technology organizations
