Unit 6: Skilled Trades Career Development

This unit revolved around entreprenuership and careers, we learnt about how we could prepare for interviews in our careers, we had a group project for entreprenuership, we learnt budgetting , and we also learnt about careers in the skilled trades. We had done mock interviews and prepared for actual interviews that one could have with their employers, we interviewed each other in pairs. We had to create our own business and prepare a slideshow or powerpoint that consisted of the details and everything that would be put into consideration, the needed supplies, budgetting, logos, etc. We also learnt about budgetting per se, we learnt upon how we would have to live depending on our careers and we found places that could underline within our budgets alongside how much you could spend on groceries and other necessary utilities and how much money would be remaining. We also learnt about careers in the skilled trades and we went over how the jobs worked, specifications needed, and how to find them (there's a lot of them). This unit was mainly about preparing for the future.
