SCHOOL UNIFORM

The compulsory St. Mother Teresa Catholic Academy school uniform has been designed to promote a unique school image, and to give students a sense of collective identity. Our school uniform reflects Christian values and employment readiness as well as helps SMT maintain its status as a safe school wherein unwanted visitors can be easily identified.

Students are expected to wear the school uniform throughout the school day, including the times between classes, study period, and lunch periods.

The SMT school uniform consists of the following pieces and can be purchased at from McCarthy's.

ANY OF THESE PIECES ARE ACCEPTABLE.

Tops:

• SMT white polo shirt

• SMT 1/4 zip sweater

• SMT white dress shirt with an SMT tie WITH an

• SMT embroidered V-neck sweater or SMT embroidered vest or SMT embroidered cardigan

Bottoms:

• medium grey flannel school dress pants (no jean style, cotton, corduroy, or dickie pants) worn WITH blue, grey, white or black socks

• black belts only

• SMT kilt worn WITH navy blue knee socks or navy blue or black tights (must be solid colour; no patterns)

Shoes:

• solid black shoes (no stripes, logos or laces of a different colour)
