SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN:
Registration for Summer School is now OPEN! Please send your completed registration forms to Ms. Chiera via email. Once registered, you will need to connect with the Continuing Education Department, your Summer School Teacher or Summer School Principal if there are any issues. The deadline to register is June 19th.
PLEASE NOTE: Many forms are being sent to Guidance and are not filled out correctly - you must select ONE format for the course (either remote or eclass). Checking off multiple options will mean that the registration cannot be processed.
General information can be found on the Continuing Education Site: https://www.tcdsb.org/o/continuingeducation/page/summer-school-program-information or call 416-222-8282 (Ext 2135) or email at continuing.education@tcdsb.org
Read through the information below and ensure that you consult the Courses Offered so that you register correctly.
The top section of the form is for courses taking page in-person at brick and mortar school locations only. These can be found on Page 7 of the Course Offerings.
The Online Program Registration is to be completed for any courses that will be completed virtually. You have the option of selecting Remote Learning which is synchronous with live instruction (pages 8-11). Courses that were previously attempted and failed can be taken as "upgrading" courses and students can choose the morning or afternoon. Courses that have never been attempted are taken as full day courses.
If you do not want remote learning, you would select eClass (pages 12-18). These are fully asynchronous courses with no live instruction. It is important to select ONE session if you are choosing eClass, as courses are offered at different times.
Please review the NEW resources below and note that there have been updates to the 2025-2026 Community Service Hours and Guidelines. The Community Involvement Form is also included so that students can save and complete electronically or print and scan for hour submission. Changes for this year include the fact that paid community service hours are NO LONGER permitted.
For more information, please visit https://www.tcdsb.org/o/teachingandlearning/page/community-involvement
Please review the Guidelines carefully to understand what types of activities qualify for community service hours BEFORE completing them.
Please complete this community service form and email the completed form to Ms. Chiera. Only this form will be accepted.
New for the 2025-2026 school year, the Ministry of Education will be issuing certificates for students who go above the required hours and complete 50 hours or more of community service. In order to be eligible, graduating students need to have submitted their hours by Friday April 17th as certificates need to be ordered. Please see the Grade 12 Page for more information.
Please note that you MUST use the Google Forms in order to make a timetable change. You cannot request a change via email. The Google Forms to request changes for the 2025-26 school year are now available below.
The last day to drop a Grade 11 or Grade 12 Semester 2 course without having it appear on your transcript is Friday May 1st. Any requests to drop a course will be followed by an inquiry from Guidance and a Withdrawal Form must be signed if approved.

If you need to contact your Guidance Counsellor, please send an email to marisa.chiera@tcdsb.org
Please DO NOT email for timetable changes - use the Google Forms posted.
