Our vision is for EVERY SINGLE one of our students to improve their fitness and overall health over the course of a term. We hope to inspire students to continue to be active on a daily basis by introducing them to a variety of ways of moving and getting " BETTER. EVERY. DAY."
Our Physical and Health Education department believes that daily active living through physical education offers students the balance they need in their high school curriculum.
Physical activity is essential for healthy growth and development. Active participation in our PHE classes, which include fitness, weight training, sports, games, dance, gymnastics, mobility, mindfulness, outdoor pursuits and health will be provided following Toronto Public Health guidelines. Our program provides opportunities for students to develop the skills and confidence necessary to be independently physically active and to make positive decisions regarding personal fitness and the value of physical activity in their daily lives.
