UOFT SUMMER PROGRAMMING FOR BLACK YOUTH
University of Toronto is offering free summer programming specifically for Black youth.
Blueprint is an academic enrichment program designed for Black students interested in science and engineering. It is open to Canadian students currently in Grades 10 and 11 who identify as Black and are interested in pursuing careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). The program includes four weeks of summer programming followed by year-long engagement.
Summer Program:
The summer program takes place in person at the University of Toronto’s St. George campus for four weeks in July. Students will explore design and innovation across engineering disciplines and participate in two engineering-focused summer courses, educational excursions, and community‑building events.
Year‑Long Engagement:
After the summer portion, students will continue in one of two engagement streams. Students entering Grade 11 will participate in Prepare, which focuses on leadership development and soft‑skill building. Students entering Grade 12 will participate in My Academic Preparation Sessions (MAPS), which supports university application planning and academic readiness.
Students must apply by March 29, 2026.
SUMMER INTERNSHIP- ZURICH CANADA

There is an opportunity for grade 12 students to apply to paid in-person summer (July & August) internship with Zurich Canada out of their downtown Toronto office.

In collaboration with the Toronto Elections' Student Connect Program, the Toronto Catholic District School Board is working with Toronto Elections to provide our students a unique opportunity to participate in the 2026 Toronto Municipal election by working in paid voting place positions on election day - Monday October 26, 2026.
Who can apply?
Any student interested in civic engagement and will be 16 or older before October 26, 2026.

UofT FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE DAY 2026
Grade 10–12 TCDSB students are invited to the University of Toronto for Florence Nightingale Day 2026 — a free, in-person event designed to introduce high school students, particularly those underrepresented in STEM, to the exciting world of statistics and data science.

Florence Nightingale Day is an annual celebration named after the statistician (and founder of modern nursing) who used data visualization to transform public health.
