The annual Summer Break Black High School Students' mentorship and Lab Tour is scheduled for August 6, 2026 from 9 AM - 4:30 PM at the University of Toronto Mississauga (3359 Mississauga Road, Mississauga, ON L5L 1C6)

The Boss Up Summer Program is powered by Young Bosses in Business Foundation in collaboration with Humber's Longo Centre for Entrepreneurship.

COMMUNITY STEWARDSHIP IN HIGH PARK
Weedy Wednesdays is our summer gardening and stewardship program for adults. Each week we will work in OURSpace, our outdoor garden and learning space, or care for one of our stewardship sites in High Park. Activities may include weeding, planting, watering, caring for native Black Oak Savannah plants, and more! VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR TCDSB STUDENTS
Volunteer applications for TCDSB high school students are now available for 2026.
Details:
IMPORTANT – students should submit an online application through the William Osler Health System – Volunteer Program portal and select Etobicoke General Hospital
Under "How did you hear about us?" category in the online application, students are to use the space provided to indicate TCDSB and their high school name.
Students are to answer all application questions. Application questions will be evaluated. Students are encouraged to take good care in crafting well written responses.
Applicants selected for an in-person interview will be contacted with further details.
Placement offers will be made on an ongoing basis.
Etobicoke General Hospital is located at101 Humber College Blvd, Etobicoke.
Students must commit to a minimum of 60 hours.
Students should apply as soon as possible as placements fill up quickly.
The deadline to apply in order to secure a summer placement is the end of February.
