THE EDNA RUTH'S

A Collection of Children's Books to Address Issues in Life

Dr. Lee received a mandate to document his mother's life through children's books. Ms. Edna Ruth, as she was called by those who knew her, or Momma, by her son's friends, was an all around good woman. She fought and beat cancer for 9 years after being given a 10 month and 6 month death sentence. Her strength and faith in God kept her alive. Ms. Edna Ruth was also known for her gift of cooking. Nobody could cook as well as she could. She even entered a competition to create the State Dish for Alabama which contained tomatoes. During the competition she placed honorable mention due to her TLuv's Sweet Tomato Pie. (Who knew you could make tomatoes taste like apples?)

The stories on this page are dedicated to Ms. Edna Ruth and include her family.
